In determining a future for South Australia, the relevance and strength of the arts and creative sector has never been more important. Besides providing enriching experiences and deep connection, the creative sector has the potential for significant growth, growing jobs and boosting the economy. With funds from the economic strategy division on the Department of State Development, the Arts Industry Council of SA, through Brecknock Consulting, took the lead in exploring and developing opportunities for four sectors of the arts where we currently show national leadership.
The sectors are:
- Craft
- Screen
- Festivals
- Theatre for young audiences
