The Media Resource Centre’s Public Forum, 2 September, Adelaide
Held on Tuesday 2 September, 5.30pm at Mercury Cinema, the forum will discuss the impact of the cuts to the emerging screen sector by Screen Australia. The meeting will ask: “Do we want to respond collectively to the cuts?” and “How do we fix the problem of the removal of the incubation and career pathways to the screen industry?”. Creative Partnerships Australia National Roadshow, 10 September, Adelaide
Creative Partnerships Australia will travel to all capital cities in September 2014 to announce funding and industry development programs for the year ahead, and to provide information on the many services provided to increase private sector support for the arts. Join Matthew Morse, Executive Director of Strategy and Programs, as he unveils Creative Partnerships’ programs and strategy, and presents an industry insider briefing. CHASS National Forum: Humanities, Arts and Social Sciences and the Public Good, 8-9 October, Melbourne

Australian Theatre Forum, 21-23 January 2015, Sydney
The Australian Theatre Forum is an industry event for professional theatre practitioners, producers and commentators that welcomes participation from all parts of the industry – independents and project based collectives, small to medium and major companies, producing venues and festivals. Produced by Theatre Network Victoria (TNV), the Australian Theatre Forum is an event that generates discussion around contemporary practice, policy, sustainability and audiences. It is attended by artists, presenters, producers, managers and policy-makers. The fourth edition will be held during Sydney Festival 2015, and will be curated by theatre maker David Williams.
