The core motivation for AICSA to host this discussion is to work towards a new argument for the arts to:
- put to funding bodies
- put forward in the context of policy development
- and also increase understanding of the value of the arts to promote to the wider general public
As important as this core motivation is the desire to stimulate dialogue within the sector and to other associated / interested parties leading into our fora series in 09.
Moderator Jodi Glass, Chair AICSA, will briefly introduce the topic and each of the panel members who will speak for 10-15 minutes before they open up to questions and comments from the audience.
