Meeting with Simon Crean

On August 17th 2011, heads of various key arts organisations and peak bodies met with the Honourable Simon Crean, Minister for Regional Australia, Regional Development & Local Government, Minister for the Arts to discuss the current key arts issues. Correspondence with Minister John Hill

AICSA has recently written to Minister John Hill to advise him of these thoughts and to request that representation of practicing professional artists on Boards is considered and prioritised when making ministerial appointments to Statutory Authorities and other government appointed Boards.
