*Note: In the lead up to the Federal Election, AICSA currently encourages you to write to federal representatives and Minister for the Arts, Senator Mitch Fifield, about arts funding cuts to Australia Council for the Arts. Read more here.*

3 May 2016

Dear artists, arts workers and arts lovers,

In light of proposed state government arts funding reductions, we encourage you to write to your local member of state parliament to voice your concerns about the impact of these cuts.

AICSA has prepared a template letter about the arts funding cuts that you can use to send to your local member in May 2016, by email or mail.

You are welcome to personalise this letter and add your unique views on the issue. Please fill in your contact details in the space provided.

1) Download the letter template for local members of state parliament
(Since the Australia Council funding announcements, we encourage you to write to your federal representative instead here)

2) Find your local member and their contact details on the Parliament SA website.
If you are unsure of which electorate you are in, search on the Electoral Commission of SA website.

Thanks for your support in this campaign. Please encourage your friends and networks to also write during May to make the voice for the arts heard loud and clear!
